Do I need a doctor's order for infusion therapy?
Clinical and specialty infusions (biologics, OPAT antibiotics, physician-prescribed IVs) require a doctor's order and are administered under physician-directed protocols. Wellness infusions (IV Hydration, Myers' Cocktail, B12, immunity drips) do NOT require a prescription — our RN completes a wellness assessment before each session.
How does in-home PICC line or port maintenance work?
Our RNs provide complete central venous catheter care in your home including: PICC dressing changes (sterile technique), port access/flush/de-access, lab draws via PICC or port, heparin/saline flushes, and routine maintenance with infection surveillance. Full clinical documentation is provided to your care team after each visit.
